What to expect from a Trigger Point and Sports Massage treatment
With the combination of massage and trigger point release, a pressure is applied using the fingers or cupping techniques, as well as deep tissue manipulations to the trigger points, which results in the softening and releasing of the trigger point.
Many patients experience relief after their first treatment. For others, several treatments are required. It is common to experience soreness for one or two days after the treatment. However, this usually resolves after the first few treatments.
