Pregnancy Massage Therapy
Pregnancy massage is a complementary choice for prenatal care. Contrary to sports massage, pregnancy massage has a gentler approach and is usually conducted in a side lying position, using specific prenatal techniques, to help increase circulation, lymphatic flow, alleviate tried muscles and relieve mental and physical fatigue.
Pregnancy massage is especially beneficial during second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in your belly puts strain on the lower back, muscles, and joints.
We use NO essential oils as the safety and comfort of our clients is of the utmost importance.
Regular massage will greatly reduce the swelling in hands, feet, and legs as well as alleviate any cramping that may be experienced in the lower legs. The further you progress in your pregnancy the more often you will come as you will find the need for massage increases as the body changes occur.
